Trustni (trustni.app) is a product of Redblock Software LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA ("we", "us"). Trustni helps online stores on Salla collect reviews with photos and videos from their customers, mainly by WhatsApp, and show those reviews on the store.

This policy explains what data we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can ask us to delete it.

1. Who this policy covers

Merchants: store owners who install Trustni from the Salla App Store. For merchant account data, Redblock Software LLC is the data controller.
Shoppers: customers of a merchant's store who receive a review request or leave a review. We process shopper data on behalf of the merchant and only to provide Trustni to that merchant. The merchant is responsible for having a lawful basis to share this data with us.
Visitors: people who visit trustni.app or a store page that shows the Trustni reviews widget.

2. Data we collect

From merchants

Store name and store ID from Salla.
Login email and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.
Access tokens that let Trustni work with the merchant's Salla store and WhatsApp Business account. These are stored encrypted.
WhatsApp Business account details, such as the account ID, phone number ID and message templates.
Settings chosen in the dashboard, such as widget style, review rules and coupon options.

About shoppers (sent to us by the merchant's store)

Name, phone number and email address from the order.
Order number, order status and the products in the order.
The review the shopper chooses to submit: star rating, text, the name shown with the review, and any photos or videos.
Delivery and read status of the WhatsApp messages and emails we send.

From visitors

Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is kept in server logs for security and to fix problems.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The dashboard stores your login session and language choice in your browser's local storage. The reviews widget may keep a short-lived copy of ratings in session storage so pages load faster.

3. How we use data

To send one review request per delivered order, by WhatsApp or email, on behalf of the merchant.
To collect reviews and show approved reviews on the merchant's store.
To send a review reward coupon, if the merchant turned this on.
To run the merchant dashboard and provide support.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use shopper data for advertising, and we do not contact shoppers for our own marketing.

4. WhatsApp messages

Review requests are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta, from the merchant's own WhatsApp Business number, using message templates approved by Meta. We only send messages about the shopper's own order. A shopper can ignore the message, and can ask the store or us to stop further messages at any time. Meta's handling of WhatsApp data is covered by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run Trustni, and only what they need:

Salla: the e-commerce platform the merchant's store runs on.
Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): to send WhatsApp messages.
Resend: to send emails.
Bunny.net: to store and deliver review photos and videos.
Cloudflare: website hosting, network security and encrypted backups.
netcup: our application and database servers, located in Germany.
Grafana Labs: service monitoring and error logs.

Approved reviews are public on the merchant's store. We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

6. Where data is stored

Our main servers are in Germany. Some providers above may process data in other countries, including the United States. When data moves between countries, we rely on our providers' standard safeguards.

7. How long we keep data

Merchant and store data is kept while the merchant uses Trustni.
When a merchant uninstalls Trustni, we remove its Salla access tokens right away. The remaining store data, including shopper data and reviews, is deleted within 90 days of a deletion request.
Server logs are kept for a short time, normally no longer than 30 days.
Database backups are replaced on a rolling basis, so deleted data also leaves our backups over time.

8. How to delete your data

You can ask us to delete your data at any time:

Merchants: email [email protected] from your account email and tell us your store name. We will delete your account, store data, shopper data and reviews.
Shoppers: contact the store you bought from, or email [email protected] with the phone number or email you used. We will delete your data and your reviews, and tell the store.

We confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

9. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Access tokens are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and access to our servers is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell affected merchants if a breach affects their data.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, email [email protected].

11. Children

Trustni is a service for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell merchants in the dashboard or by email.
